WHY I FOLLOW JESUS

30 years ago, I met God. No He didn’t look like Elvis or a hippy or even a clean cut guy in a suit. All I can tell you is that I asked God to touch me and reveal Himself to me, and He honored my request. He Showed me Himself in the person of Jesus.
Once you have been touched by God and felt the Love of Jesus, that demands a response. Some ignore it, others try to run. I was just blown away that God existed, that He loved me and that He spoke to me. So that demanded a response from me. Hey, I was only 17, but I wasn’t stupid. My response was simple – “OK, Jesus I will follow you”. Things were so clear and simple when I was 17. Didn’t have much to give up except my freedom, my dreams, my hopes and my fears. So on one hand, God loved me and on the other I had unfullfilled dreams and fears…..Nice trade huh?
Encountering the God of the Universe demands a response. That was mine…I have never regretted it.
